Website Hosting and Technical Information
Our website is hosted by WP Engine.
Like most web-hosting providers, WP Engine and the website server may process technical information associated with visits to the site, such as:
- IP address;
- browser and device information;
- date and time of requests;
- requested pages or files;
- technical logs needed for security, diagnostics, and site operation.
We do not use this information to personally identify ordinary visitors except where necessary for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, or legal requirements.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies necessary for the operation of the site.
We use CookieYes to provide cookie-consent controls. Visitors are offered choices to:
- accept cookies;
- reject nonessential cookies;
- manage cookie settings.
Necessary cookies may be used without optional consent because they are required for basic website operation. Nonessential cookies are configured to be disabled by default unless consent is given.
Some third-party services used by the website may also make technical requests or use their own technologies when their features are loaded or used.
You can change your cookie preferences through the cookie-consent controls available on the site.
MailerLite Website Resources
Our MailerLite integration currently loads certain MailerLite resources on pages of the website, including pages where the newsletter form itself is not displayed.
MailerLite may therefore receive technical request information when its resources are loaded. Newsletter subscriber information is processed by MailerLite when you use the signup form.
For more information about MailerLite’s own privacy practices, please refer to MailerLite’s privacy documentation.
Fonts
The website may load fonts or font-related resources from third-party providers such as Google Fonts. When these resources are requested, the provider may receive standard technical information associated with the request, such as an IP address and browser information.
Embedded and Linked Third-Party Content
Our website contains links to websites and services operated by third parties. These may include:
- Amazon;
- Payhip;
- Books2Read;
- YouTube;
- Facebook;
- Instagram;
- OCOY.org.
Simply displaying a normal outbound link does not mean that those services receive information about you from us before you follow the link.
If you click a link and visit another website, that website’s own privacy policy and practices apply.
YouTube
Some pages may include video content associated with YouTube.
Where possible, we use a privacy-conscious video-loading approach in which the YouTube player is not loaded until you choose to interact with the video. Once you activate or visit YouTube content, Google/YouTube may process information according to their own policies.
Amazon Affiliate Links
Some links to Amazon on this website are affiliate links.
If you follow an eligible affiliate link and make a purchase, Light of the Spirit Press may receive a small commission. This does not increase the price you pay.
Amazon may use its own cookies, tracking parameters, or other technologies after you follow an Amazon link. Those activities are governed by Amazon’s own privacy and affiliate policies.
As an Amazon Associate, Light of the Spirit Press earns from qualifying purchases.
Other Purchase Links
We may link to Payhip, Books2Read, Amazon, or other booksellers and service providers.
Purchases made through those websites are handled by the third-party provider. We generally do not receive or store your payment-card information when you purchase through an external retailer or payment platform.
Their own privacy policies and terms apply to transactions conducted on their websites.
Analytics
At the time this policy was prepared, we did not detect Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, or similar advertising or behavioral analytics systems operating on the redesigned website.
If we introduce analytics or similar tracking systems in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where appropriate, the site’s consent configuration.

We may retain information longer where reasonably necessary for legal, security, accounting, dispute-resolution, or fraud-prevention purposes.
