Baba Premananda Bharati
Baba Premananda Bharati was an Indian monk and teacher of the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition, which traces its spiritual lineage to Sri Krishna Chaitanya and places special emphasis on devotion to Krishna.
He came to America to spread the life and teachings of Sri Krishna, founding the Krishna Samaj in New York, where he lectured and published Sri Krishna, The Lord of Love in 1904.
His writing reflects the devotional spirit of his tradition, presenting Krishna’s divine activities not simply as sacred history, but as revelations of the transforming power of divine love.
